Oblivion kicks off to Mitch Voelker and Stefani Voelker stood backstage.
Mitch Voelker: So, I’ve been a bit quiet but I’ve been sitting back and waiting for something to happen. Why not, right? So CM Punk has finally thrown a match my way for Independence Day and it’s going to come in the form of a Fatal Fourway defence. I’m okay with it. After all, I’ve been waiting for a challenge.
Stefani Voelker: It really doesn’t matter which three end up challenging us because Mitch is going to succeed no matter what.
Mitch Voelker: I know that a huge challenge will await me no matter what but I’m not worried about it. Bring it on.
He adjusted the Oblivion Championship on his shoulder as the two walked off.
Becky Bayless: We just heard from Mitch and Stefani but it’s time for us to say welcome to Tuesday Night Oblivion!
Rob Van Dam: It’s our final Oblivion stop before Independence Day. Last week, CM Punk announced three triple threat matches tonight to declare three number one contenders to the Oblivion title... we’re kicking off with one now!
Show Opener; Oblivion Championship Qualifier Match: Seth Black vs. Cleo Laine vs. Caprice Coleman (accompanied by Cedric Alexander)
- Caprice Coleman hammers Cleo with a few shots before dishing out the same to Seth.
- Seth and Cleo clothesline Coleman out of the ring, leaving just the two.
- Seth suddenly lays down on the mat, motioning for Cleo to pin him. She does, picking up the win.
(Winner - Cleo Laine)
Becky Bayless: I guess that’s what you get when you put a couple in the ring together?
Rob Van Dam: I can’t help but feel we were cheated out of a match there. I’m sure Caprice Coleman would agree...
Cleo and Seth celebrate that ‘victory’ up the ramp as a frustrated Caprice Coleman stands in the ring, unable to believe what just happened.
We go backstage to see Cleo Laine returning backstage with a huge smile on her face.
Cleo Laine: That is how a real team works. They have each other’s backs no matter what. Everyone knows that Seth is your Money In The Bank winner so he has a shot at the Oblivion Championship whenever he wants it anyway. So of course, we’re equals and it only makes sense that I get a shot too.
She couldn’t help but smile as she wrapped her arms around the shoulders of Seth.
Cleo Laine: And Caprice? Sorry honey. I’m sorry you weren’t quite smart enough to stop that happening and now you’ve just let yet another opportunity pass you by. Sad.
Cleo laughed as she and Seth walked away.
Becky Bayless: We’ve had one hell of a Queen of the Ring tournament so far so let’s take a look at the brackets so far!
Rob Van Dam: So in our first quarter-final round match, let’s see who will make it through!
Queen of the Ring Quarter-Final Round Match: Terri Runnels vs. ODB
- ODB kicks off the match with a series of hard power moves.
- Terri turns the tables, catching ODB with a clothesline, followed by a hard DDT.
- A brawl between Jacqueline, Kat and Molly with Alicia, Britani, Haruna and Christina is seen as the two groups begin to fight down the ramp.
- Thanks to the distraction, ODB catches Terri with the Bam. She covers to pick up the win.
(Winner - ODB)
Becky Bayless: ODB with the win! She’s on a roll but it’s safe to say Terri was just screwed!
Alicia, Britani, Haruna and Christina retreat up the ramp quickly as Terri argues with the referee.
A frustrated Caprice Coleman is walking backstage, just pacing back and forth momentarily until his partner, Cedric Alexander appears.
Cedric Alexander: Hey man, you feeling any better yet?
Caprice Coleman: How can I feel better? I was just screwed and what’s more, I didn’t even manage to stop it.
Cedric Alexander: Don’t worry about it, man. It doesn’t mean you won’t get another shot in the future.
Caprice Coleman: I doubt it man, I really doubt it.
He said with a sigh.
Cedric Alexander: At least look towards some sort of redemption, then. I know you Caprice, you won’t give up and you’ll find a way.
He patted Caprice on the shoulder as the two headed off for Cedric’s match next.
Becky Bayless: It’s also now time to see who will make it past the quarter-final round matches of the King Tournament!
Rob Van Dam: But first, we’ll see how we left things last week.
Becky Bayless: And right now, Shelton Benjamin versus Cedric Alexander!
King of the Ring Quarter-Final Round Match: Shelton Benjamin vs. Cedric Alexander (accompanied by Caprice Coleman)
- The two go back and forth in the opening minutes of the match. Benjamin soon gains the upperhand.

(Winner - Cedric Alexander)
Becky Bayless: Cedric with the win! I guess it’s not all bad for the C&C Wrestle Factory.
SoCal Val: Ladies and gents, please welcome my guest at this time... Cheerleader Melissa.
Melissa took a step forward.
SoCal Val: Melissa, we still haven’t been able to hear from Debra regarding your apparent new alliance with her but is there any more you can say on the matter?
Cheerleader Melissa: We will discuss it when the time is right. For now, we will focus on the here and now.
SoCal Val: Okay, well, you were concerned about your lack of opportunities but it seems you have a huge one here now as you face Big E and Delirious for a shot at the Oblivion Championship next week at Independence Day.
Cheerleader Melissa: It’s about time I was recognized for something but unfortunately, I’m going to have to share my opportunity with the winners of the other two matches tonight. So am I satisfied yet? Not entirely but nor will I complain. Instead, I’ll do what I’ve got to do and leave with that opportunity.
Cheerleader Melissa: Neither Delirious or Big E are on my level or even worthy of being potential contenders for the Oblivion Championship so again, I’m not worried. I’ve got this one.
Melissa turned and walked away.
Oblivion Championship Qualifier Match: Cheerleader Melissa vs. Delirious (accompanied by Daizee Haze) vs. Big E (accompanied by Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods)
Becky Bayless: We saw Cleo Laine earn her spot in the Oblivion Championship match earlier in the night... who will join her?
- Big E is the dominant force in the opening minutes of the match.
- Delirious clotheslines Big E out of the ring before turning his attention to Melissa.
- Delirious performs the Chemical Imbalance II before covering for a near fall.
- Big E returns, crushing Delirious with a Powerslam.
- After throwing Big E from the ring again, Melissa plants Delirious with the Kudo Driver to pick up the victory.

Becky Bayless: Cheerleader Melissa lives up to expectation!
Rob Van Dam: What a match!

- Rachel catches Nicole with a hard series of shots followed by a hard Running Yakuza Kick.
- Rachel goes in for the kill but Nicole responds with a Leg Lariat to regain control.
- Nicole performs the Crushcrushcrush to Rachel to pick up the win.
(Winner - Nicole Franceschi)
Becky Bayless: Another incredible match!
Rob Van Dam: But it’s Nicole who will advance!
Corey Graves is walking backstage with the cameras in front of him.
Corey Graves: I’ve been sitting back and just biding my time as of late. I haven’t really had much direction but since I showed the world exactly what I’m made of by defeating former Oblivion Champion Tyler Black fair and square last week, I’m feeling better than ever.
He finally looked up at the camera.
Corey Graves: So am I confident that I can go the whole way in this? Of course I am. I can be your King of the Ring and all I have to do this week to take that next step is defeat Francesco? Easy enough. I respect the guy and he sure is tenacious but is he good enough to be known as the King? Of course he’s not.
He walked away, shaking his head.
King of the Ring Quarter-Final Match: Corey Graves vs. Francesco (accompanied by Serenity)
Rob Van Dam: Francesco is on a roll right now but can he stop Corey Graves?
- Francesco dominates much of the opening minutes of the match.
- Soon, Graves dodges a shot and counters with an Inverted suplex slam.
- The two competitors go back and forth before Francesco starts to gain the upperhand again.
- Graves counters the Photo Finish with the MK Ultra to steal the win.
(Winner - Corey Graves)
Becky Bayless: Francesco gave it his all but he just couldn’t take down Graves!
Rob Van Dam: Graves heads to the semi-finals!
Oblivion General Manager CM Punk is seen perched on the edge of his desk in his office.
CM Punk: Independence Day is now one week away. However, as usual, that means there is quite a lengthy break between Burnout and Independence Day itself. How do we fill that void? Well, myself and Kirsten have figured out a plan.
The camera pans out to show that Burnout's General Manager Kirsten is sat beside him with a huge smile on her face.
Kirsten: That's right. Given the large roster we have, we also felt as though it would be smart to bring in a new championship. That might be somewhat controversial, given some believe we have too many championships already and that may be true but we found that there is currently a large hole... and that is in the form of hardcore action. With the Ultra Violence Championship out of bounds for the time being, we've recently opted to create...
Kirsten hands Punk a bag. He holds it as Kirsten pulls out two championship belts.
CM Punk: ... the Ultra Violence Tag Team Championships. These titles will only ever be fought for in a variety of hardcore-based matches but the main reason for doing this? Well, we want to include you all in something.
Kirsten: That's right. The entire roster have an opportunity to get their hands on these titles. Within the next few days on UFWA.com, we'll be doing a live draw. Why? Because no well-established teams will be fighting for these titles. No. We'll be essentially putting the name of every single person into a generator and picking out two at a time. Those two names are a team for this tournament. Yep, this is wildcard style. It doesn't matter if you're already a champion or already a part of the team, you'll be expected to embrace your first champion. Well, if you want to be the first-ever history-making Ultra Violence Tag Team Champions.
CM Punk: So check back on UFWA.com either later tonight or tomorrow and we'll have the fans get involved with our random draw to determine the teams and brackets for this tournament. We won’t be having the tournament matches on the weekly shows but on our daily house shows to give everyone something to do in the build-up to Independence Day. Enjoy, all.
Kirsten nodded as the scene heads back to ringside.
Becky Bayless: Woah! Can you believe that? We’ve got ourselves a new title and what’s more, the entire roster will be involved!
Rob Van Dam: I can’t wait for that draw! Can you imagine the sorts of combinations we might end up with?
Tag Team Match: Women's Champion Jacqueline & The Kat vs. Haruna Sakazaki & Christina Crawford (accompanied by Britani Knight & Alicia Fox)
The team of Christina Crawford & Haruna Sakazaki, accompanied by Britani Knight and Alicia Fox, are the first to head down to the ring. They step through the ropes with Britani grabbing a mic from ringside.
Britani Knight: The four of us are the strongest teams out there right now. We have no reason to feel otherwise because we have, so far, been a dominant force. Tonight, my girls Christina and Haruna are going to prove even more of a point up against the losers that are Jacqueline and the Kat.
Britani Knight: We're not here to mess around... we're here to fight. Christina and Haruna are going to ensure that they get the job done here next and for Jackie and Kat, there is no escape.
Haruna looks around to listen to the mixed reaction from the crowd, not realizing that her fellow crew member are looking at her as it's now Haruna's time to talk.
Haruna Sakazaki: Oh, hai.... umm, sorry. well, yeah. She's right... We are here to fight. That was all our main objective all along. We have to fight to survive this business, right? As for myself, It will be no different. I will face anyone in the entire locker room to survive that prove everyone that I can be the best too. Jacqueline was my mentor. She told me that I have to be stronger and now, here I am. I am always ready to face anyone, include you. Here I am, standing here with a passion to get another title and because the title is on your shoulder. I have to beat you and I have no hesitation to do it. As for me and my fellow team mates.... I also not hesitate to fight and support each other as long as the title grabbed from your possession.
Haruna looks at Britani, responded by her smile as she ends her part.
Christina then steps forward.
Christina Crawford: I do get that Jacqueline and the Kat are good. I'm not going to take that away from them but this is our time to shine. I've worked with Jacqueline for years now as well and she was also my mentor but sooner or later, the students do surpass the master and we're examples of that so tonight, you'll see that for yourself.
Christina dropped the mic as her team mates nodded in agreement.
- Jacqueline dominates Christina in the early moments of the match. Christina soon fights back but Jacqueline uses her strength and experience to keep Christina on the defensive.
- Haruna and Kat soon exchange shots, with Haruna getting the best of the situation.
- Terri Runnels soon races down to the ring and doesn’t hesitate to get involved, assaulting Christina with a hard shot.
- As Terri continues to assault both Christina and Haruna, the referee soon rules out the match.
(Winner – Haruna Sakazaki & Christina Crawford via DQ)
Becky Bayless: Terri with a little bit of payback there from earlier!
Rob Van Dam: Though it’s still Haruna and Christina with the win!
In her first appearance since Final Frontier, we see Oblivion Diva’s Commissioner Mickie James arrive on stage to a hugely positive reaction from the crowd, shouting at the two sides to stop their fight.
Mickie James: I get it... there’s plenty of bad blood here. But for now, I’m going to shine the spotlight on just two of you. Next week, is Independence Day so let me make a Women’s Championship match. Jacqueline, considering you suffered a loss to Haruna a few weeks back, she is your next challenge and you’ll go one-on-one with the title up for grabs.
Haruna smiles as Jacqueline looks at her Women’s Championship.
Mickie James: But that’s not all... since the rest of you want to tear each other apart as well, there’s going to be a 6-woman tag team match to go alongside it. It will be Molly Holly, Terri Runnels and The Kat taking on Britani Knight, Alicia Fox and Christina Crawford. Wait until then to destroy each other, okay?
Mickie leaves to another huge reaction from the crowd as the two sides stare each other down.
Becky Bayless: Woah! What an announcement!
Rob Van Dam: Haruna will challenge Jackie for the Women’s Championship and the other six will finally get their hands on each other. I can’t wait!
Oblivion Championship Qualifier Match: Allison Wonderland (accompanied by Dean Ambrose) vs. Luke Harper (accompanied by Ivelisse) vs. Brutus Magnus (accompanied by Doug Williams)
Becky Bayless: It’s our final Oblivion Championship Qualifier. Who will join Cleo, Melissa and current champion Mitch Voelker?
- Allison Wonderland works alongside Brutus Magnus in the opening minutes of the match to take down Luke Harper.
- Harper soon fights back but Magnus manages to gain the upperhand following a Flowing snap DDT.
- Allison reappears and strikes Magnus with an impressive Springboard Tornado DDT.
- Harper plants Allison with the Truckstop and without Magnus able to make the save, Harper secures the victory.
(Winner - Luke Harper)
Becky Bayless: Luke Harper with the win!
Rob Van Dam: Our Oblivion match is set!
We see Brooklyn pacing down the hallway, with her hands clasped behind her back.
Brooklyn: Again, there is a minimal amount for me to do. It’s a shame but I’m okay with it for now. I’m biding my time but sooner or later, it’s all going to change and I will be at the very top. While it’s currently vacant, my sights are set on the Ultra Violence Championship...
She said as a smirk appeared on her lips.
Brooklyn: So at Independence Day, I’ll issue yet another open challenge in a Hardcore match. I don’t care who you are, what you do or where you come from. All I want is for someone to show up in that ring with me and be prepared for war.
She turned her back on the camera, continuing to pace as the scene heads back to the ringside area.
Queen of the Ring Quarter-Final Round Match: Scarlett Bordeaux vs. Talia Cavenagh (accompanied by Ashley Jak & Kenzy Black)
Becky Bayless: Both of these women have impressed in the Queen tourney so far but who will advance?
- The two go back and forth, each hitting a series of fast-paced moves on one another.
- Talia goes in for the kill with the Fake It but Scarlett is able to escape.
- Scarlett now turns things around and looks to put Talia away but Ashley hops onto the ring apron.
- Scarlett shoves Ashley off of the ring apron and onto Kenzy. As both of her team mates fall to the mat, a distracted Talia is pulled into a roll-up for Scarlett to steal the win.
(Winner - Scarlett Bordeaux)
Becky Bayless: It’s Scarlett Bordeaux! She’s heading to the semi-finals.
Rob Van Dam: That was an impressive match!
Becky Bayless: Could we see an Oblivion representative in Nicole Franceschi, Scarlett Bordeaux or ODB win the Queen tournament?
We see Jimmy Jacobs preparing for his upcoming match but soon, Crimson appears on the scene. He slaps Jimmy on the shoulder, smirking towards him.
Crimson: It looks like we meet again! Who’d have thought it?
Jacobs initially stared at him blankly before slowly nodding.
Jimmy Jacobs: I suppose it is strange that we now work on the same show yet neither of us have interacted yet. I’ll take great pride in eliminating you from the King of the Ring tournament, though. Considering I’m the reason your entire team is no more, I’d say that’s possible.
Crimson couldn’t help but laugh.
Crimson: I’ve heard that plenty of times before but you really think I’m scared? Na, I couldn’t be further from it. You might have got one up on me at Final Frontier but this one is mine.
Jimmy Jacobs: Believe what you want to, Crimson. You weren’t always the smartest man.
He then hit him on the shoulder before walking off with Ivelisse.
King of the Ring Quarter-Final Round Match: Jimmy Jacobs (accompanied by Ivelisse) vs. Crimson (accompanied by Nicole Franceschi)
Becky Bayless: This is going to be one hell of a match. They might have just had rivalry of the year so this is going to be epic!
- As expected, the two former rivals tear one another apart in the early minutes of the match.
- Crimson hits an early Red Sky but Jacobs is able to power out, much to Crimson’s frustration.
- Jacobs uses this to his advantage, getting back on track following the Breaking The Fall.
- Crimson catches Jacobs with a second Red Sky, to finally put him away.
(Winner - Crimson)
Becky Bayless: Crimson finally with closure there. He might have lost the war back at Final Frontier but that’s a great step to redemption!
Rob Van Dam: So that rounds up the quarter-finals!
Becky Bayless: We’ll see you at Independence Day, when we’ll see not only who wins the semi-finals between Crimson, Cedric Alexander and Corey Graves but also who we’ll crown King and Queen of the Ring! Goodnight!
